The first Release Candidate of new YoWindow 3 :)

What's new?

- Screen-saver. We have moved "Exit (Esc)" button to the bottom-right corner.
It works similar to full-screen button, so it looks like its place is here.
We will experiment with this setup for a while.

- Big screens adoption.
This weekend I took a visit to a computer supermarket.
There was a big-screen Apple Mac.
I've took a chance to test YoWindow on the big screen.
And it turned out to look awful.

It looked like this.

The information panels were too small.

Today I have modified YoWindow code to adjust user interface for big screen.

Please let me know do you like the way YoWindow displays information on your screen.
Is it big enough?
Is it too big?

Hi Pasha,

I loaded down b51. I installed it and have no weather. I lost my Home location.

I checked the version. It was b511. I cleared my cache and reinstalled b50. This was all on my WinXP. I am on my Win7 posting this message. After reinstalling b50 on my WinXP, my WinXP is displaying no weather and is displaying the Giant Moon.

Since I saved all of YoWindow 2, I am going to restore that and then reinstall b50.

:(

Sorry, friends!

I have forgotten to upload the installation file.
You have been downloading the old RC of YoWindow 2.0.

I have fixed the problem.
Give it one more try - download and install b51 again.

Clean your browser cache before downloading.
Otherwise you may still get the old yosetup_rc.exe

Sorry!

Hi Pasha,

when I use your downloadlink I get this irritating information:

Why version 2.xxxx? You wrote "first release candidate 3"

On my 24" monitor (60 cm diagonal) I see this screen and for me the information display is more than big enough.

Hi Pasha,

I agree with Werner, please go back to the smaller version.
Or, maybe you can make it possible to choose what you prefer?

Kind regards,

Theo

Hey Pavel,

I agree with Werner and Theo, the information panels are too big. And I second Theo's suggestion: "Or, maybe you can make it possible to choose what you prefer?"
