Installed 3 beta. When I go to shut down my computer I get a runtime.dll error, when I boot back up, my location is gone and I have to reset everything. Got a screen shot. Hope this works:
Well, tried to insert the screenshot but it didn't work. The error is:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error:
Program C:\Program Files/YoWindow 3 Alpha/YoWindow.exe
The application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
Please contact the application support team for more information.
How to I fix this?? Just as an aside: Easter Eggs in the program beside Billy and Fiesta?
Thank you
Jann

Dear Jann, please upgrade to b21 and let us know if you can repeat the error.

I am running b22, sorry, I forgot to say that. The next post says it is still there in b22. Is there anything on the MS site that would fix this?

Re: Runtime.dll error on shutting down
I think the problem is inside YoWindow.
But I wonder where it is.
Please do the following.
1. Uninstall and then install the latest build of Yo3.
2. Run Yo3
3. Make sure Yo2 is not running (check windows tray, it may be hidden)
4. Restart computer.
Will the problem happen?

Hi Pasha
I uninstall Yo2 en Yo3
shutdown the computer . no errors
start the computer
I install Yo3 B22
Without starting Yo3 as a program , Windows shutdown correct
After Windows started, I start Yo3 .
I restart windows and I get the screen error gr.

ps translation is:
1 program should be closed

Re: Runtime.dll error on shutting down
Arggggggggghhhhhhhhh!!! I had a thought. I downloaded the version at the top of this discussion which says it is Alpha b23. When I just now checked in the Help/About it says it is b20. What I am going to do is redownload the one at the top. Uninstall the 20b, remove any registry entries then install the right version and I will get back to you!! I hope my key doesn't expire before we figure this out!!! It keeps disappearing with each boot.par wrote:I think the problem is inside YoWindow.
