Hi Werner,

Are you trying to change the landscape for a specific location?

This is how I made Airport the landscape for Cleveland, Ohio.

I hope this helps you out.

I'm not able to change the landscape too.
No matter if the location is my home-location and i want to change (to a flash landscape or one of my own) or if the location is another location (again it doesn't matter if i choose a flash landscpae or one that's user-made).

Sorry! Now i know what Marty means - and it works:

to change the landscape one first has to choose "Locations", choose one and then apply a landscape with the selectionbox on top right. :)

It doesn't work if you go to "Options" / "Landscapes", selecting one and then click on "Apply" and/or "Ok"... :(

Hi Reinhart,
thanks for your explanation :friends:
Now it works, but isn't it a little bit complicated??? I'm afraid that all normal user will have the same problem.

Hello, guys!
There is a lot of confusion with this locations Options page now.
I have noticed this and I'm worried a little.

Probably we have to redesign it.
Let me show you why we do not allow to select landscape to the current location with this method.

Consider this case.
You have Village selected.
Say you want to check out Oriental landscape authors.
You go to Options/Landscapes, click Oriental, click Properties.
Then, to close Options dialog you click OK.
But at this moment Oriental becomes selected.
Some people will find it unexpected.

And the worst case.
After checking Oriental Properties you go to "View" page to select Daylight diagram.
You click OK to apply changes.
And again, Oriental becomes selected.
No good.

However, please hold on, I did not add Landscape sub-menu to the main-menu.
That used to be the old good way to select Landscapes.
