swf transparency stopped working?

With some new Adobe Flash Player versions/plugins it seems that the transparency of an image-file converted from PNG to SWF does not work anymore: The transparent part of the picture is displayed in black.
The issue is already known and discussed also in the Adobe-Forums: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3688282

Do you have any example? The examples in the adobe-thread you posted are running well and without "black" backgrounds in all my browsers (IE 9.08, Opera 11.11 and firefox 4.0.1).
Did you have real problems or is your post only an information that "it could be" a problem???

Again Mr. "Extranjero",
as you can see on the screen of your site, no problems with Win7/64 and IE 9 ...

Are you shure your IE 9 and the adobe-flash are actual?

Hi Werner and Matthias,

I have no problems with IE9 and Win7. My IE9 and Win7 looks just like the screen shot that Werner has shown above.

But I am having problems with IE8 and WinXP. I am using the new Flash Player 10.3.181.14

Werner, remember that I had to track down the prior flash player on my IE9 Win7. Flash player 10.3.181.14 could not be used with IE9.

If anyone has IE8 and WinXP with a flash player prior to 10.3.181.14, please try Matthias's test page.

Marty

Same here...though I can see that there is something wrong with the horizon line in the .swf picture...

Flash version 10,3,181,14 installed, Win 7 IE 9.0.8112

My own weather widget (files hosted by Herman) runs beautifully...
