What about displaying the flag of the country the location belongs to left to the location-name in the inspector and system-tray-tooltip-window?
Ok, everyone should know which country the location is in; one has choosen it in the location-dialog before.
Don't have to be a permanent feature - maybe as an option in the location-properties or location-settings dialog?
The flags themselves should be already available for free from Icon Drawer.

(explanation: i looked for the southernmost location in Spain and found "Tarifa" in Google-maps; I have to admit 2 days later i was not sure to which country Tarifa belongs to
