Just a quick suggestion about those of us wanting to use the PWS side on our websites.
Many of us (especially here in North America), either use cable tv high speed, or DSL internet services. The problem is we can't get access to the main area of the server, to "put a special crossdomain.xml file in your server ROOT directory".
Usually, the cable tv, and phone companies prohibits us from access to that area. I don't know exactly what can be done, but perhaps, you could look at another way, of doing this. I've talked with several others, and we've all hit this road block set up by these service providers. This seems to be a major issue, here in the states, with selling Yowindows to folks who own a PWS.

Only if you want to show native landscape on your website, you need to place a crossdomain.xml in the root of your website.
Beginning next year there is a solution to use different landscape's
For showing information of your PWS on your website, you need to create yowindow.xml
