Hi Friends,
February 29th was the unofficial first day of Spring in Mansfield, Ohio. Our airport Metar station recorded a high of 68 degrees fahrenheit. Our ski lodge (Snow Trails) had a high of 70 degrees fahrenheit (or 20 degrees celsius). The Weather Channel (weather.com) uses our ski lodge for their records. The Village of Lexington, Ohio just south of Mansfield, Ohio had a high of 71 degrees fahrenheit. It was a beautiful sunny day. Birds were singing, bees were buzzing around the crocuses and people were in shorts. Our first 70 degree fahrenheit day should not occur until sometime in April.
I thought I would share a few Spring pictures with you.

Re: Unofficial first day of Spring 2012
Crocuses are one of my favorite flowers.
And the bee is cool
Welcome Spring!

Mike. I like to ski and like the snow. But, that looks more like our winter than spring.
