Town landscape.

I asked this awhile ago and I was never able to get the Town landscape. I just installed the new google Chrome extension and it gives me the Town landscape which is my favorite. I don't understand why I cannot get it on my desktop version of YoWindow.

Hi Barbara,

The Town landscape is moving forward.
You know that to see it on your PC you need to run YoWindow in debug mode.
That hasn't changed.
But by moving forward I mean that behind the screen a lot of improvement and developing has been done.
This has resulted in an early release on iOs and as you noticed Google Chrome.
It is expected to be set free to Android soon after which the PC version will follow.

For now I can advice you to try the debug (but if I understand you right that hasn't succeeded up 'till now).
Or be a little more patient for it to be released on the PC version.

Hi Barbara,

Please try the following:

1. Quit YoWindow by pressing Ctrl-Q.
2. Find the YoWindow directory on your PC harddisk.
Normally C:/Program Files/YoWindow.
3. Start the file yowindow_debugMode.bat
This will start YoWindow in debug mode.
Now you should be able to select the Town Beta version.

Thank you Marty, I will try this and see if it works for me.
If not, I'll just have to be patient until it is released for the PC.

I followed the directions and found the debug mode. I clicked the Town landscape but as soon as I closed it, it went back to the landscape I had chosen before. That would mean (to me) that when the screensaver opens, I will still not have the Town. Is this the way it is supposed to be?

That is why you can only see it in debug mode.
