What's new?
A new BETA of Town landscape.

- People walking down the streets.
It's hard to make people look plausable in 2 dimentional world.
What you see is a work in progress.

At this step the people are clones of the same person.
However, in several weeks we are going to add more varieties to make the street life look better.

This time we need to make sure that there are no crashes and freezes.

People can enter and exit the doors.
If a car is approaching a man stops to let the car pass by.

The number of people on the street varies depending on time.

YoWindow secret service thanks, Fred!

Hi Pasha,

YoWindow Secret Service looks very good.

When they are walking toward you or away from you, their stride is very realistic.
The rest of the time, their stride looks like skating.

For a work in progress, it is very good.
Now to test some more.

Hi Pasha,

I found 2 places where there is a problem.
With the snipping tool, I cannot get a screenshot of the problems.

At the above spot, the men become superman.
They do not always stop for a car.
One time a man walked thru a bus.
Twice a man walked thru a Land Rover.
The cars that the men are walking thru are passing by the front door.

At the above spot, a man walking north and a man walking south will walk into each other.
Instead of passing by each other, they will blend or melt together.
They will then separate and continue walking north and south.
This happened twice while I was watching.
The spot where they melt together is under the arch.


In both of the above situations, I cannot yet tell you what has triggered it.
I just keep watching to see if any problem will occur.

I found a third spot that has a problem.

Once in a while when a man is turning right from the front walk, he walks over the last red chair.
Most of the time, they clear the chair.
But at least 3 times a man has walked over the chair.
