Dear Jirzi, please send me your order number to support@repkasoft.com
We will refund your money as we have refunded all the requests for the past 4 years.

Again we are switching to met.no data source because this forecast provides better quality.
We were recommended to switch to this new API by yr.no guys.
We will replace yr.no label with met.no soon to avoid the confusion.

We discuss 2 different things in 1 thread:

- Differences in forecasts between YoWindow app and yr.no website

- Discussion about alternative good weather data provider for europe with API. Like "Foreca".

Better not mix those 2 different discussions :)

BTW:
Me, I don't want refund, even if data is wrong for some time. Better support the development of YoWindow. (And maybe get colored icons in widget some day... But this is the wrong place to discuss... ;)

Hi Pasha,

I think I have found the cause of the difference in the data of YoWindow and yr.no.
For example, Madrid shows the data for 0 m, but it's altitude is around 600 m. With this API, there is a match in data:
http://api.yr.no/weatherapi/locationfor ... .7;msl=600

I don't know that the difference in altitudes occur only in Madrid, in Spain or anywhere. Maybe, this can help you to solve the problem. :)

By the way, the quality of met.no (or yr.no) data is guaranteed by the most reliable global weather model (ECMWF), so this is a good choice.

That's certainly an option we would like to consider, but as soon as we found the time.
Stay tuned! :)

Adrian, you are our hero :good:
Thank you so much!
I just have added the altitude to the weather request url.
I live in Saint-Petersburg which is located on the sea level.
Now I hope that the people living higher than myself will be happy with the forecast quality.

And yep, we are happy that met.no model is very good and the data are free.

Again, thank you, your comments were incredibly valuable.
