Just writing

Post by Skydrag »

Weather is average.
Cloudy,some light rain and 18 degrees c.

I'm home caring for my daughter who's 2½ years old...
Yesterday we had to take a fast ride. The ambulance came to take us to the hospital.
She has infection-astma. She could hardly breathe and doctors had to give her lots of medication to make sure she gets enough air into her tiny lungs.
Now we need to stay at home all week. Medicine, medicine all the time..
Tireing but still..some extra time at home and maybe even get other things done for a change.

Today she is well enough to come with me shopping and after that we'll get a burger at McD. Her favourite food.. (not mine  )

Just writing.. you know. ;)

Hi Skydrag,

i think of you and your daughter! I have to take medication for my asthma two times a day and know how it feels when you can't breathe anymore.

It must be unthinkable worse for a little child like your daughter - im sorry about such things happen to little children...

Ikarus..
You are very sweet.. Thank you..
:)
She also knows exactly how to make her mother furious, by not wanting to take her medicine..
...So my breath and heartbeat are quite fast at the moment, but off to McD we go!

See you later..

Hey Sky,

Good to 'hear' from you again :!:
And even better to hear that you've got a 21/2 year old daughter!
Terrible to hear she's got astma though.
But please keep in mind that she might very well 'grow over it'.
I know, 'cause I have so myself!

Keep up the good spirit and have faith!

Don't treat here that much with McD. I'm still trying to get it out of my daughters heads (11 and 12 years old)
No but seriously, I'm very happy that they both learn to enjoy real food more and more.

Enough preaching from me.

Say hi to tiny Tornado (loved that one!) from me/us.

Tell here the good pills come from the doctor, the bad ones from McD
Oops Did I just say that?
I'll go wash my mouth.........

Hey, Gabi, I didn't know you have a daughter.
We didn't disclose it, but a month ago Yura's son was born.
Yura is now spending happy days with Timofey and his family on dacha.
New landscapes will have to wait :)

I don't have my children yet, but I have scheduled this task ;)

I wish your daughter good health, take care :)

Well guys..
Have to calm you a little about your thoughts of McD, Fred.
It's a treat I use maybe once every 4 months or so.
I know that I'd at least get her to swallow the fries and part of the burger.
After beeing filled up with heavy cortison she has no apetite what so ever. Trying a way to lure her into start eating properly again and also a way for her to think of something else than medication and beeing held back.. While the astma is around she must not be too active since it also triggers the attacks...
Beeing only 2½ years old she talks like a 4 year old and she is far too smart for her own good.. That really puts her mother to the test at times!!!!

My congratulations to Yura!! Having children is the most wonderful thing to happen in ones life!
Enjoy!!! There is no greater love!!

I'm sure you will be a great father Pasha :)

Tiny-T is a terribly well fitting nick! ( My old nickname was mama-T but I gave it up for some reasons.
Skydrag means about the same..it's an old word for Funnel, Tornado, waterspout.. drag in Swedish means pull or draft..and sky means sky :) )

I have 2 children.
My son Rascal-T is 9
I live with my second husband Papa-Trucker and Tiny..
Rascal stays mostly with his father who lives much closer to school but comes here every holiday and on weekends..

Oops.. too much info maybe!! :D

As long as you take care not to schedule everything (since you are pretty much used to priorise your tasks) :D

I wish your daughter good health, take care :)

I'd like to second that

Dear Sky, I wish everything to be good. And the bad things in life will go away as those little bugs in our program.

I'm happy you are back and thanks for all the flowers.
