Dear Mac users, I'm happy to present you YoWindow 3.0
This is an early beta.
Please help me to find the bugs.

Temporary dropped features:
- Facebook and Twitter broadcasting
- Detailed weather info when you click on the temperature in the status bar

So far, looks great! However, the app on my husband's windows version says 10 degrees cooler and is seldom accurate. Info is from NWS. Any ideas?

Will keep watching for bugs on my Mac...

I just have uploaded the second release candidate.

I think I have fixed every error report you guys have submitted over email.

A little side note - please don't use email, submit the new request here, that will make request management easier for me.

What's new?

- Sky conditions and wind are now displayed in the popup-up menu when you click temperature.
- FIXED: impossible to install YoWindow 2.0 after YoWindow 3 is uninstalled.
- FIXED: The temp in the menu bar only shows Celsius even when I select Fahrenheit.
- I hope FIXED: I set it to allow for updates and so when I launch, it tries to install an update
but the updater/installer just crashes and I have to force quit it.
- FIXED: inability to configure the application from within the OSX screensaver preferences
module. The screensaver would open with the options displayed but it didn't retain the location unless YoWindow launched separately and configured from that end.

I've been running on this beta since I resolved the issues previously described in this thread (all resolved).

I have not observed any stability or usability issues thus far. Is there anything you'd like me to test?

Just a quick update. One noted item: I ran YoWindow 3 via the application launcher and got an update message that repeats on each launch of the program. The update itself fails because it's attempting to install an older version of the program.

Not sure if you've observed this or it is expected.

I have received a report that YoWindow 3.0 crashes on Snow Leopard (10.6)
If you run YoWindow on Snow Leopard please let me know your experience (support@repkasoft.com)
We cannot release YoWindow until this problem is resolved.
I'm testing YoWindow on Lion - 1.7.5

- FIXED: YoWindow is offering to install an update without a reason to
- FIXED: window resize handler displayed in screen saver

I installed this morning onto Mountain Lion - 10.8.4.

I can confirm the update issue is resolved. I'll let you know whether I find anything else.
