That was easy! It must have been the way I saved the crossdomain.xml file. Once I did as you said it worked right away!
Thanks.

RegardsBy the way I'm a bit confused. Now WD makes the xml file which is in use by yowindow. How it is possible to change some settings. e.g. I wanted to let yowindows get the current weatherdescription but let WD do the rest.

Re: PWS: Weather Display Template
If you remove <sky> tag from the template/script, YoWindow will take the data from METAR.
If you want YoWindow to display description from METAR, but take all other data from your station, there is a problem.
1. YoWindow does not support this trick now.
2. Picture inside YoWindow is built from Weather Station data, and the description is supposed to describe that picture.
Displaying description for other data (METAR) is quite strange.
Why do you need this?

Re: PWS: Weather Display Template
Jose, I do not think you can do that when using the XML file produced by Weather Display - the template format for the XML is built into WD (the only options are to produce the XML file and to upload the XML file).Jose1701 wrote:By the way I'm a bit confused. The only way to do that would be for Brian Hamilton to produce an external template (with the YoWindow tags in it). When WD runs, it would import that external template to produce the XML file.
Re: PWS: Weather Display Template
Jose,
You can implement the template that is in the first post of this thread, then you can experiment with whichever tags you wish. No need to ask Brian to change anything.

Thanks a lot.
I now understand. I will see if the code that Brian made were good for my personal use. I think it will be fine.
I will see.
