I have watched for several weeks that the update is often not funtioniert

° C, the number is matte, click on the number, the last update was 1:40 hours ago

Then I click on F5 for the update, nothing happens

Then I try another from the town and there is an update, then go back to Lohmar (home city) and it works

I installed yowindow entirely new since the update errors returned

at the station, it can not lie, if I manually update it is mostly, but unfortunately not automatically

Thanks, now I understand what's the problem.
We had to increase weather auto-update interval because of the recent problem with one of our weather services - aviationweather.gov
But this is temporary.
I'm already busy with fixing this problem.
Soon YoWindow will have much better weather auto-update.

YoWindow will be updating weather automatically with a very low latency (2-5 minutes) to the METAR service.

Just saw the new version 260.
I did not get a notification though.

Any ideas?

There are 2 reasons.

You didn't receive the notification because we send it when the feature gets available in the RELEASE version, not the release candidate.

Also pay attention that we send notifications only if there is a significant change in the new build.
Fixing a small bug or translation of a couple of strings in some language are not so important for most of YoWindow users.
I just don't want to bother them.
The bottom line is that not every build is followed by new version notification.

I think you're right only to send a notification when important changes are there.
