Hi Pasha, hi friends,

I'm a little bit confused where I should post my (not only my) problem with the widget and PWS :(
Is it in this subforum? or here http://yowindow.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... 7&start=10 or should I post it in bugs???

Fact is, since I use widget version 3 I have the same problems as Allesandro
The weather icon does not appear, instead writing “N/A”, and the page runs extremely slowly.
and Tihomir.
See also here: http://yowindow.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... 852#p13810 and you will see I'm not alone with this problem!

It's not about getting no answeres and really you simply cannot judge or tell if I have little patience.
you simply cannot say how much time I spent getting this fixed.
Besides, my first post was on the 14th about the problem and the post you were referring to was posted by me on the 19 th.

Hi Pasha,

YoWidget 3 works okay for me 99.9% of the time. Just like Weerstation, my WinXP 32-bit is the .1% that has an issue.

The very first day of YoWidget 3 and the first time I accessed it on that day, the widget displayed as New York City instead of Mansfield. It also only showed the name with no forecast or current data. I went to another location widget and finally got information coming thru it and then went back to my location and was able to have a full functioning widget.

This has happened several times since. The times that it has occurred are after I first turn my laptop on. I may have cleared the cache as a last step before turning the laptop off and then when I turn it on, there is no history. It is almost like the first time thru there is no history but you are priming it. The second time thru since it has been primed, the widget displays all information.

Other than that, YoWidget 3 is working great :good:

Hi Pasha,
you are my hero  :friends:
Everything on my widget works properly http://www.wetter.toernover.com (incl. my PWS-datas)
It is much more faster than the old widget and the new look is great!

Werner

P.S.: for the future I have one suggestion ... to add more datas from the PWS, f.e. the dayly rain.

Werner,

Did you look here http://yowindow.com/widget_parameters.php where there are a lot of parameters to add. I haven't done much with them but I think they should work if you are providing the PWS data for them?

Hi Jim,
on my xml the daily rain total is visible ... but not on my widget

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
-<response> -<current_weather> -<temperature unit="c"> <current value="6.7"/> </temperature> <humidity value="74"/> <pressure value="1017.6"/> <pressure unit="ws_baro24h%" value="num" trend="num"/> <visibility value="dunkel ! - 11-15 km"/> -<wind> <speed value="1.7"/> <direction value="67"/> </wind> -<sky> -<clouds> <icon format="ws-win" id="8"/> </clouds> -<precipitation> -<rain> <daily_total value="11.0"/> </rain> -<precipitation> <amount value="0.0"/> </precipitation> <rate value="0.0"/> </precipitation> <description value=" "/> </sky> -<auto_update> <interval value="900"/> </auto_update> </current_weather> </response>

I don't know why???
