We have come up with the forum rules at last!
Our goal was to convey the most important information for the newcomers in several sentences.
Because people are very fast on the internet (see "Don't make me think" book)

I'm sure you guys will suggest many more rules.
But keep in mind we don't want to make this document big and hard to read.
People come here for help, not to read the rules.

It loos like these 5 rules are enough for the moment.
We hope we picked the proper ones.
We will add more rules over time if it can help our forum.

I welcome them very much.

I won't discuss them, they're fine the way they are at the moment for me.
But I would like to see "Read this first" added if possible.
Or maybe "Read Forum Rules First!" instead of the current text.

I'm sorry, it didn't last long.........

After some thinking I think a few rules would be useful to add.
You have to move the 5 then at least.....

• - Please post in English.
  That way you will profit from the widest possible support.
  Also most of the other users will benefit from it.
  If it's not possible for you to write in English you could try a translator, like http://translate.google.com/#.
  If that also doesn't work for you, then try to post in your own language under International.
  It will be more difficult for everyone to help you in your language though.
  
  - Some of our topics contain special instructions.
  You will always find these on top of the topic.
  Please read them first and follow them exactly.
  That way we can help you the best and fastest way.
  
  - Some of the questions are already answered in our FAQ: http://yowindow.com/help.php
  Please have a look there first.

Sorry to bother you guys, but I do hope this will help us all.
Especially our new and unexperienced users.

We will discuss the suggestions with Yura later on.

In my opinion the rules must be short.
This is very important.
People don't like to read the rules.
99% people do not read software license agreements because they are long.
I think we should have only rules the forum cannot live without.

I have added a remark about FAQ to the rules.

I'm skeptical about asking people to post in English.
Because we are doing this in English (yes a person may be reading translated version).
People will still be posting not in English anyway.
Rules will not solve this.
This is my opinion.

I think the problem with instructions is solved by "Read this first" prefix in the topic title.
Can we leave without this rule?

Don't be sorry!
I do agree to keep it as short as possible.

And I only made suggestions because I found them important.
But most of all I like them to be discussed

I can live happily with your suggestions, don't worry

All and all it's getting better and better.
And that's the main part!
