Hey, friends!

I want to explain why the temperature is not displayed in the Task Bar on Windows anymore for many of you.

YoWindow uses Flash Player for Internet Explorer to display the graphics.
Recently Adobe has released a new version of Flash Player - 11.9
Something has been changed in 11.9 that makes YoWindow sad.

Now YoWindow is not able to start weather update in the background.
I don't know why.
But that's the reason why you don't see the temperature.

I cannot test this behavior yet on my working PC - Windows 8.
But I will as soon Microsoft provides a new update of Flash Player for Internet Explorer
I hope to provide a fix when I find out the cause of the problem.

So it will take time.
Please bear with me, I have tons of other work to do.
I hope we will get over this problem soon.

A little bit strange is, that we don't have this problem in all installations:
I'm using FP 11.9...., RC 152, Win7/64, no screen saver, no autostart.

No temperature in Task Bar or System Tray? I have temperature in System Tray and never had in Task Bar. Maybe I am not right.
If not, please explain me. I have 11.9.900.117 version of Adobe Flash Player and OS Win 7 Home Premium SP1. It is also all right at Win XP SP3 and the same Flash Player.

1. In settings of the program the point shall be marked "Run with Windows (minimized to tray)"



2. After Windows loading, on YoWindow icon in a tray, temperature isn't displayed
(also the popup window with weather data isn't displayed, in case of induction of the cursor of a mouse on YoWindow icon in a tray)



If to launch YoWindow, everything returns to normal and works before the following loading of Windows...

Any updates on this issue? I miss having my YoWindow temp icon in my taskbar!

I'm working on resolving this problem.
Expect the update within 2 weeks.
