YoWindow Forum

Hello everyone! I have a problem I hope someone can figure out for me...I have a Kindle Fire HD that I am re-purposing into an always on weather station. I installed the free version of YoWindow several weeks ago and the setup ran perfect for about a week (grandkids loved watching the animation), anyway I then decided to purchase the ad free version but right about that same time an update must have came along because the ad free version and what I believe is an updated version of the free app will not stay open continuously like before. I can open the app and walk away coming back sometime later to find that the app has closed itself. I currently have a different weather app in the Kindle that is staying open just fine so I know that the problem is not device related.

Any ideas!

It might be one of a rare crashes in YoWindow.
We are working on this to solve the problem.
Have you tried to run YoWindow constantly on some other Android devices?

Installed the free version on my Droid Turbo and set the screen timeout to its maximum setting of 30min, app continued to run. I do no know what the refresh (update) rate of the app is so I don't think we learned anything from this experiment.

Watching the Kindle with the free version, it has closed itself right around the 15min mark the last two times...

I will run this test on our Kindle when I have found time for this task.
