Problem:
The temperature shown in the status bar does not automatically update. I see the same issue with the tray in the Win7 version of YoWindow.
One of the main reasons for trying YoWindow was to be able to see the temperature at a glance in the tray / status bar. If there is no possibility of fixing this I will look elsewhere.

This problem will be fixed soon.
As a temporary workaround add YoWindow widget to your desktop, this will force the temperature in the status bar to update.
