I live in Billings which according to the metar charts has two sites KBIL and KBYZ, the problem is that under location properties YoWindow insists my default is KSHR which is Sheridan Wyoming a location about 130 miles south. I've changed it to KBIL but it keeps reverting to the default of KSHR. How do I fix this so my weather is correct?

This is what I have. I keep having to reset it every morning to KBIL. I need to know how to tell YoWindows that the default for this location is KBIL which is what it should be.

Hi Terry,

Look at my screenshot and yours.
My screenshot reads Source (Default METAR).
Yours reads Source (METAR).

Try changing yours to (Default METAR).
And then click on Default after the www.

Let us know if that fixes your issue.

It doesn't change a thing, the default is KSHR for some reason. Not KBIL.

Hi Terry,

What build are you using?
I am using Beta b23 at the top of the forum.

I would also like you to try something for me.
Delete Billings from your locations.
Now do Ctrl Q to completely exit from YoWindow.
Completely clear your internet cache.
Press Ctrl F5.
Now shut down your computer.
Turn off your router and unplug it.
Leave everything off for awhile.

Now turn your router back on.
Turn your computer back on.
Enter Billings back into YoWindow.
What does Location Properties show now?

Thank you in advance for your patience.

Marty

Came home from a long, long day with stupid, stupid people to find this message.

Yeah! Smart people do exist. This worked perfectly, thank you so much for turning my bad day into a... well better day at least. :Yahoo!:
