I am using Yo windows 4 for desktop and I have windows 8....the weather has not updated since 5 hours ago....how often should it update and why isn't it doing so

Hi Rhetta,

5164449; New Waterford/Ohio/USA uses METAR station KUCP in New Castle, Pennsylvania.
The thunderstorms have probably knocked out the power to the METAR station.

Until the power comes back on in New Castle, do the following.
Click on Location > Properties.
Change KUCP icao code to one of the following.
KBVI - Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania
KYNG - Youngstown, Ohio

Once the storms are over with, KUCP should be working again.
Let us know how this works out for you.
