Iowa City, Iowa for some reason is now not updating the temperature. It says weather expired and it has now been one full day since it has been updated. I see this on the Windows screensaver, the Google Chrome app, the iPad app, and the iPhone app. Please repair! :(

Hi David,

Welcome to YoWindow.

4862034; Iowa City/Iowa/United States is using METAR station KIOW (Iowa City).
KIOW (Iowa City) history shows a bad round of thunderstorms on May 7. The METAR station lost its power for a day. It has just come back on line.

On your Desktop for Windows, you can also use the following METAR stations. (Click on Location > Properties and replace the icao code.)
KCID (Cedar Rapids) shows 24 hours of history.
KAWG (Washington) shows 24 hours of history.
KMUT (Muscatine) shows 24 hours of history.

If you continue to get Weather Expired, do the following.
Completely exit from YoWindow (Desktop for Windows is a Ctrl+Q).
Completely clear your internet cache.
On your PC, press Ctrl+F5.
Restart YoWindow.

Let us know if this information helps you.
Thank you in advance.

Marty

Hi Marty,

Thanks for the helpful information. However, I cannot get the Google Chrome app to update -- it still says weather expired. I uninstalled it, cleared the cache - including Crtl+F5 -- and it still does not change. What are my next steps?
