Hello ,

I use yowindow widget on my site (http://radio-blemblem.com/wetter/) .
since 2 days it says "not up to date weather", now is the writing away, but the weather still shows the values of two days ago. I've clear the cache, but everything remained as it was. My location is Plauen (Germany).
Would be nice if they could help me

Hi

Welcome to YoWindow.

The majority of weather programs use a service supplied by NWS.
NWS gathers the METARs from the airports around the world.

The METAR station for 2853292; Plauen/Germany did not supply NWS with any METARs on June 21st.
It was able to supply NWS with 6 hours of METARs on June 22nd.
It looks like the problem is being worked on.

I have found 4 METAR stations in your area.

EDQM - Hof Plauen - having problems right now.
EDAC - Altenburg Nobitz - having the same problems.

LKKV - Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic - is working (closest to you).
ETIC - Grafenwoehr, Germany - is working.

Plauen, Germany Weather site is temporarily using LKKV.
Pilots are temporarily using ETIC.

Until the METAR station and NWS have this problem fixed, do the following.
Click on Location > Properties.
Replace EDQM with LKKV or ETIC.
The widget has a variable that you can use to assign a specific icao.

Let us know which one works the best for you.

Thank you for your time and your patience.

Marty

Hello,

at the moment it is that the weather is displayed correctly with my girlfriend (as a screen saver).

As a widget, there are still many problems :(

Since only every few hours is updated once

The METAR station EDQM and EDAC are certainly unreliable - they are behind realtime for 4 hours.
I think we should black list them.
The weather will be taken from Karlovy Vary now.
But you can always override this behavior by providing ICAO code parameter to the widget.
