Hi Pieter,

Welcome to YoWindow.

Please give us the City, State, and Country names of the locations that you are having a problem with.
If you know the GeonamesID, that would also be helpful.

I cannot research your Weather Expired problem until I have this information.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Pieter,

I will research Colombo, Sri Lanka tomorrow.
I tried it and had no problem with it.

Pretoria, South Africa is using the METAR station FAIR which is Pretoria Irene.
FAIR is operating for a few hours every day.

FALA - Lanseria - operates most of the day - it is down from UTC 20:00 to 03:00.

Go to Location > Properties.
Replace FAIR with FALA.

Let us know how this works for you.

Hi Pieter,

I did some research on 1248991; Colombo/Sri Lanka.
It's METAR station VCBI (Katunayake, Sri lanka) was down for a few hours on the past 2 nights.
Monday night, it was down from UTC 02:10 until UTC 04:10.
Tuesday night, it was down from UTC 02:10 until UTC 05:10.

I would like you to do some testing for me on Pretoria.
I have a fahrenheit version and a celsius version on my website that uses METAR station FALA (Lanseria).
If the server I use is down, wait a little bit and it will be back up.

Underneath the YoWindow Widget, there is a Show METAR.
Click on the Show METAR. You will see the time that the METAR was down.

http://worldweather.hikingweather.net23 ... oriaF.html
http://worldweather.hikingweather.net23 ... oriaC.html

Let me know how accurate Lanseria is for Pretoria's actual conditions.
Once I know this, I can put thru a request to have the METAR station changed.

Thank you in advance.
