Hi Rainer,

The METAR station for Centurion is 'FAIR' which is Pretoria Irene.
In the past 24 hours, there have been 3 METAR readings 5 hours apart.

I am trying to find your closest 24 hour a day METAR station.

There is a problem with yr.no and NWS right now.
Until they resolve their problems, I cannot do anymore research.

Hopefully, I can supply you with information tomorrow.

Hi Rainer,

I have found 2 reliable METAR stations in your area.

FAJS - Johannesburg - seems to be working 24 hours a day
FALA - Lanseria - seems to be down for a few hours around midnight UTC - causing weather expired then

Below is a comparison of your PWS and these 2 METAR stations at the same moment.

I do not know what is wrong with the forecast on the Widget.
The forecast is working on the Desktop.

Let us know which of these 2 is the best.

Hi,
Lanseria (FALA) would be fine although Irene (FAIR) would be better.
However I use my PWS for current weather in Centurion now.
