[RESOLVED] Wind Forecast Panel Yo2 versus Yo3

Post by countryroads »

Hi Pasha,

Thank you for adding the wind to YoWindow 3.

I am having to turn off the wind as it does not display the same as it did in YoWindow 2. If the wind could be displayed the same as it was in YoWindow 2, it would be very much appreciated.

YoWindow 2 display of the wind keeps the forecast panels small.

YoWindow 3 display of the wind has forecast panels variable sizes and could become overwhelming in cases like Mount Washington where the wind can be 100 plus miles per hour.

Thank you in advance for fixing this.

Marty, this is the comparision of Yo2 vs Yo3 ForecastPanels.
I don't see much difference.
Where is the problem?

Hi Pasha,

If my examples looked like your comparison example, there would be no problem.

My examples from above show the following

Wed - wind - YoWindow 2 is 0 and YoWindow 3 is 0-1 (should be 0 or 1)
Thu - wind - YoWindow 2 is 7 and YoWindow 3 is 6-7 (should be 6 or 7)
Fri - wind - YoWindow 2 is 10 and YoWindow 3 is 10-13 (should be 10 or 13)

If YoWindow 3 would show one number instead of a range, there would be no problem. The range of numbers is making the forecast panel wider than it needs to be.

I wish my examples looked like yours.

I hope this helps you out.

Hi Pavel,

beside Martys location "Mansfield" i found another location - "Hartford" - where the wind-values in the forecast-panes are mixed (range and single-values):

Mansfield, Ohio:
