Add Location not working

Hello,
YoWindow detects correctly my city (London), but in fact I live close to it, and would like to add my actual town. But when I go in the options and click on "Add Location" nothing happens. Am I missing something here?

Hey!
I have no idea what went wrong.
There might be a temporary problem with connection to YoWindow sever.
Can you try it again?
What is your operating system?

Hello,
I am on Windows 7. Basically I press on the button "Add Location" and I am expecting a pop-up window to appear, or a search bar. Instead nothing happens.

Ah... It must be working
A popup window should appear.
Try to clean Chrome cache and restart the browser.
If this does not work uninstall/install the extension.
Please let me know if this helps.

So I tried to clear the cache and reinstalling with no success. A rapid analysis of the option page says that every time I click on the button the "optionsLocationChoice.js" script returns an error:
"Uncaught Type Error: Cannot read property 'selectedLocation' of null". Full console error:
Code: Select all
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'selectedLocation' of null optionsLocatoinChoice.js:1
updateLocationChooserStatus optionsLocatoinChoice.js:1
openLocationChooser optionsLocatoinChoice.js:1
onclick options.html:1111
I am using Chrome 19.0.1084.56 m and YoWindow extension 1.30
UPDATE: oooh, look at this: optionsLocatoinChoice.js:1. It says "Locat
OIn". I don't know what to make of that as I'm not a programmer, but maybe that is the problem.

It started working now. How odd. However, my city is not listed, although I can find it in the yr.no website. Can I request it in the other forum or that is just for the window version?

Hi,
If your location is on the YoWindow website it should also be available on chrome.
The database for this is shared on all versions for YoWindow.

Oh I see, it's an administrative division... Thank you for your help, still not quite sure why it wasn't working in the first place but an excellent program, as it has been your feedback!
