Chrome: View Locations after seeing Lightning.

Post by countryroads »

Hi Pasha,

With the changes that have been made, I wanted to see if lightning was still working. I tracked down a lightning storm and the lightning was still awesome.

I then switched to another location and saw lightning there. If you notice it shows Partly Cloudy with a thunderstorm icon.

I then exited YoWindow Chrome and then came back in to see the above location. I wanted to see what the weather was without having looked at a thunderstorm first.

I have another location to show you.

Hi Pasha,

I want to thank you for the 12 hour AM/PM Time Bar.

I looked at the same lightning storm that I had tracked down and then switched to my own location.

This time there is no thunderstorm icon. But I had just been watching lightning at the location that had a storm.

I then exited YoWindow Chrome and then came back in so I could show you what the weather is.

It is almost like once lightning is viewed, a switch is turned on. After that any location you view will show lightning unless you exit and then come back in.

I will keep testing until we get every bug out of this :Search:

Marty, lightning is now so much awsome, we need to fine tune it later.
Actually you are awsome - thanks for the wonderful error report :good:
I have found the problem and I think I have fixed it.
Please try the new build of Chrome edition.

I have also added Up/Down buttons for locations reordering on Options page.
Get YoWindow weather app for your phone or tablet.

On your screen-shots I have noticed that you are using some other weather extension.
What is this?
Get YoWindow weather app for your phone or tablet.

Hi Pasha,

I am not able to load the new build for Chrome. I keep getting this message.

The other extension is AniWeather.

Hi Pasha,

Can confirm this on my Win7 machine.
I have current version 0.23.

Download gives older version.

Hi Pasha,

I was finally able to load the new build for Chrome. I tracked down another lightning storm. I viewed it, then viewed Saint Petersburg, then viewed the lightning, and then viewed my location. The weather showed up as it should at each location. Viewing locations after seeing lightning looks like it is fixed. :Yahoo!:

Now, the Growing Cloud of Smoke needs to be fixed. :(

I used the Up of the Up and Down. It worked.

Thank you for fixing the lightning issue. :)
