Temperature in tray not updating

The temperature in the tray does not update unless the program window is opened.
I think this was a known issue at one time but I am not sure it was understood to be resolved. At least for me it appears not to have been resolved. Please advise if this is still a known issue.

This is probably related to Windows firewall blocking YoWindow from the Internet access.

I set an outbound rule in Windows Firewall pointing to: %ProgramFiles% (x86)\YoWindow\yowindow.exe
This didn't resolve the issue. The temperature in the tray doesn't update unless the program window is opened.

Ah...
This is a mysterious error.
I cannot reproduce it on my Windows PC.
I hope we to find the source of the problem some day.
