BUG: Animal is Stuck

Post by steve »

It's really annoying, seeing an animal stuck at the left side below! :(
Hopefully it would be fixed in the next release...

Horse frozen in corner - No UFO

Post by countryroads »

Hi Pasha,

I am using the latest build on my Win8.1 tablet.
I have YoWindow running from my SD card.

Village landscape has a frozen horse in the lower left corner some times.
There is no UFO around.

See attached.

Hi Pasha,

The animal frozen at bottom left happens once in a while for me.
It is always that same screen coordinate.
If you look at the horse and the cow, they are frozen at the same coordinate.

When I encounter the frozen horse, the horse has not even walked onto the landscape.
I go to a location or just click on YoWindow Desktop icon and open YoWindow.
The horse is frozen at that coordinate upon the load of the landscape.

I will try different times of the day and different locations.
I will try to study what is triggering this.

Hi Pasha,

I just encountered a frozen Marfa.

The Village landscape loaded as it should.
Millie was grazing in the pasture.
Millie was the only animal in the landscape.

I was studying the landscape for about a minute.
A frozen Marfa displayed at that coordinate.

I hope the frozen animal is easy to find.

Hi Pasha,

I think I have found the trigger.

When Village loads and there are 2 animals grazing, the frozen animal will not display.
But if there is only 1 animal grazing, wait a minute or 2. The frozen animal will display in that coordinate.

Have fun finding the frozen animal.

Hi Pasha,

I can confirm this.

As soon as an animal walks in from the left of the screen it freezes.
I've seen Marfa freezing and shortly after Billy walked in from the left, after which it also froze.
Leaving me with Billy displayed half over Marfa (also half).

Fred

Edit: You can make them move again by double clicking them :)

Hi Pasha,

Here are 2 frozen animals.

There was one animal grazing in the pasture.
After a few minutes, 1 frozen horse displayed.

The grazing animal walked out of the landscape.
After a few minutes, the second frozen horse displayed.

Have fun.

Marty

EDIT: I just tried YoWindow on my Win7. Same things happen on the Win7.
But I have a mouse there. I was able to double click on frozen animal to make it move - Just like Fred suggested.
On my Win8.1 tablet, my finger does not make that good of a cursor!
