plethora of BETAs

To whom it may concern,
lately I've been receiving almost daily notifications stating that a new BETA edition is available for android phones. Just why is this? I can't believe that changes are suddenly being made at such an accelerated rate. I had chosen to use Yo Window because I've always felt, and still feel, that it is the best weather program now extant, owing to a captivating layout and accurate and thorough data even for the province of Pistoia, Italy where I currently reside. Can anyone offer a feasible answer?
