Pavel...

may I suggest you permanently fix these server errors first !!!

Again my desktop version is not updating any location...only live weather...

What's the use in putting all these gadgets in if the program itself is inherently flawed...

First things it needs to do is give an actual weather + a decent forcast !!!

I'm a big fan of YoWindow but lately these server and update issues are becoming a real pain the proverbial *ss...

With all due respect...FIX IT !!!

Agree with Wally, please stick to the essential code. The airport is a mess now, same as countryroads. Leaves, oke, but UFO's.............

p.s. Where is the town landscape?

Wally, thank you for the feedback.
The recent weather forecast outage was due to yr.no weather provider error.

The problem was not inside YoWindow code.
I was not able to solve it.

I am not able to make weather forecast quality perfect permanently.
We have no control over yr.no.

This is the case of weather forecast provider reliability.

Pay attention, that YoWindow does not attempt to deceive the user.
It honestly reports that the weather forecast is not actual and that you cannot trust it.

We could hide the error and just display the old weather, so the users would not notice the problem.
No, this is a move to the dark side.

In the background me, Yura and guys we have hired do a lot of things to evolve the project.

The weather quality is definitely the top priority.
Because of this I'm working in the background to add new weather provider that hopefully can help to solve a problem like this in the future.

It is very hard for me to evolve the project, support the project, market the project and reply to the users.
I'm a regular guy.
YoWindow is my job, but besides the project I also have the life to live.
Because of this I cannot respond to a problem promptly.
But I'm trying hard to keep 5 YoWindow servers alive 24 hours a day.
Please understand.

Wally, do you still experience the weather forecast errors?

RC builds are for the developers and test team.
Do not consider them the final product.

All locations in my desktop version are now reporting as they should...

And I know that these server problems are beyond your control...

But this could constitute a major problem in the future...

So that is something you should give 100% priority...

Perhaps YoWindow is proving to be a bigger success than you originally planned...

And I do hope that you will be able to resolve this critical issue...

Server up-time should be 99% reliable...

It'll be worth the sacrifice...no matter the cost...

I agree, Wally, I'm trying my best to make the service reliable.
I have some ideas how to improve this in the future.
Hope they will come true.

Hi Felix,

Use the landscape Village or the landscape Oriental.
You are going to key ufo without pressing enter.

In Village, if you key in ufo and an animal freezes in about 30 seconds a UFO will come down and beam the animal up.
In Oriental, I have not been able to see an animal freeze.

Try this in Oriental and then you can try it in Village.
But you have to do this in Oriental first.
Key ufo. Wait about 5 seconds and key ufo again. Wait about 5 seconds and key ufo again.
You should now have 3 UFOs flying around looking for frozen animals.

Have fun.

There's an interplanetary traffic jam right now...

The Jetsons are desperately trying to solve this galactic mess...

Might take a few lightyears though...due to quantum gravity distortions...

But...IT WILL BE BACK !!!
