weather expired

Post by Ikke »

Dear all,

I have this issue using the widget on my page: http://185.56.144.9/~weerwi/verwachtingen/

It appears that not every visitor can see the data, some visitors see only "weather not available"
On my pc, thinks work fine as I have windows 8, also windows 10 is not a problem.

Feel free to ask for more info if needed.

This is the generated code:

Code: Select all

<div style="width:220px; height:150px;">
    <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://swf.yowindow.com/yowidget3.swf" width="220" height="150">
    	<param name="movie" value="http://swf.yowindow.com/yowidget3.swf"/>
    	<param name="allowfullscreen" value="true"/>
    	<param name="wmode" value="opaque"/>
    	<param name="bgcolor" value="#FFFFFF"/>
    	<param name="flashvars"
    	value="location_id=gn:2783728&location_name=Wichelen&time_format=24&unit_system=metric&lang=nl&background=#FFFFFF&mini_action=window&copyright_bar=false"
    />
        <a href="http://WeatherScreenSaver.com?client=widget&link=copyright"
        style="width:220px;height:150px;display: block;text-indent: -50000px;font-size: 0px;background:#DDF url(http://yowindow.com/img/logo.png) no-repeat scroll 50% 50%;"
        >Weer Widget</a>
    </object>
</div>
<div style="width: 220px; height: 15px; font-size: 14px; font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">

1st...Welcome to the forum...

2nd...I have no problem seeing the widget and it reports accurately...

So the problem must be on the user-side...

Hi, thx for the quickest reply ever ;-)

However, please check this

https://scontent-waw1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hp ... e=56CE5425

The time is wrong (5 hours difference) and there is no data available

This is the view some users have, not all of them....
