Is there a possibility to place crosdomain.xml in http://www.nic.fi/crossdomain.xml

gamma.nic.fi looks a subdomain and that is not enough for placing the file
(Wheather on an I(phone, pad, pod) or Android, YoWindow what else )

No, I can't go any upper level. I have an idea. Could you test my yowindow.xml file in your page. My yowindow.xml is here.

The result with your yowindow.xml

http://hermanz.nl/index.php?option=com_ ... Itemid=103

Try it with my Http://www.hermanz.nl/YOWINDOW.XML
This is Nieuwegein Netherlands.

You have realy put the crossdomain.xml in the root from www.nic.fi
(Wheather on an I(phone, pad, pod) or Android, YoWindow what else )

tiki wrote:Done some more testing and now I'm more confused. I had crossdomain.xml in public_html folder. I moved it to the root. No effect. Then I removed it. No effect again. Then I changed that "current_weather" address to the one other site what I know to work's. This time my page start showing those correct weather conditions in this yowindow.xml, so without crossdomain.xml anywhere. :? :?

Edit. Yowindow PC software won't work if crossdomain.xml is't placed to public_html folder. Now it is there.
Please read the link hermanz has pointed you to.
On this page you can see what content the file crossdomain.xml should have.
The crossdomain.xml i found on the site you has provided (http://gamma.nic.fi/~jhrepo/saa/yowindow.html) has only the last 3 lines in it:
YoWindow - insufficient crossdomain.xml.jpg
Oops, I missed this post. I have upload this again and I think it's ok now.

In "Future" topic I read something what raises the question of idea. If I save landscape to my server, do I Still need to have crossdomain.xml anywhere?

Yes.
With crossdomain.xml you allow other sites (or: "domains") to access your filesystem; i this case with the crossdomain.xml you allow YoWindow.com to read the ".ywl"-file with the settings for your saved landscape.
