Zoom for my friend's website and I need your help

Post by countryroads »

I have developed a zoom for my friend's website and I need you to test it and leave me feedback on how it works on your computer.

The address is http://www.carvingsbyralph.comeze.com/c ... 4zoom.html .

If you click on a picture, you will get an enlargement. When you move the cursor off the enlargement, the picture will go small again.

I have a new wide screen PC and this works 100% on my wide screen. I also have last year's narrow screen PC. On the narrow screen, the images on the right side enlarge and flow off the page. When I move the cursor to scroll left or right, the image returns to small size.

I am using code that should be onmouseover and onmouseout. When I tried this on 9 pictures on page, it really gets dizzy. So I tried onclick and onmouseout. Like I said, the onclick and onmouseout works 100% on my wide screen and has problems on my narrow screen. But even with the flaw, the detail in the enlargement looks really good.

Since I have only tested on Windows XP, I do not know what is occurring on other computers. I will not link this into the driver html until I find out the pros and cons.

Thank you in advance.

I like the user interface concept click - enlarge / move mouse out - back
Works flawlessly in my Firefox.

I have moved your post to new Offtopic section on the forum.
Other section is for YoWindow related posts that don' fit in News, Questions, Bugs and Suggestions
Get YoWindow weather app for your phone or tablet.

Hi

Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox gives no problems . It works very well on both . ( windows xp dutch).
I want to advised you to place a empty index.html in the root.
now you see all the content of the whole directory.

Thank you Pasha and Thank you Herman.

I have now linked the zoom into my friend's website. I have put in an index.html into the web domain so it no longer shows his directory. I have also added credits for my web designs - requested by my friend.

You can now get to the homepage by http://carvingsbyralph.comeze.com .

Thank you again.
