Hmmm - the US has money for nothing if you follow the discussions in the news. But which country doesn't have debts nowadays? San Marino?
So i think the next kind of Space Shuttle will be paid be private investors.

dear friends,
surely yesterday at 5:57 EST an era did end at KSC in Florida with the successful landing of space shuttle ATLANTIS.
30 years did pass and 135 missions. It was great to watch these flights.
Unfortunately manned spaceflight on US spaceships is impossible for a long? time.
The thrill of a spaceships launch will be far in the future.
kind regards
