Can your PWS detect if the snow is falling?
If it does, how does it provide this information?
Thanks!

I have a heater for my rain guage so I can tell when there is precipitation in the winter. I use Weather Display. The software allows you to set a temperature for sleet and one for snow. There is also the ability to add dew point to the mix. That being said it still can be a gamble whether the software gets the precipitation right.

Hi

I use Weather Display that grabs precipitation data from my Rain Duration sensor (addon but its not rain bucket)
it tells Weather Display the instant its starts and stops raining/snowing, ok so its not fool proof because its all dependent on the temperature, i.e. if below 3C then its sleet, If below 1C then snow, this is the rule of thumb and
it may not necessarily be the case due to other factors for snow to fall (1000mb - 500mb thickness and 850mb temp)

Normally i am at home if work i slow so that i can adjust if necessary :)
