Trying to help
Posted: Mon Dec 27, 2010 11:31 pm
Hi everyone,
Every now and then I get a bit surprised or sometimes a bit annoyed even, when I'm reading the reactions being posted on someones reply.
In general I can say that the most, if not all, of the replies are meant to be of help!
If that doesn't look that way to you immediately, then try to get the real meaning clear to you please.
I have, sofar, not met anyone on this forum who did not had the intention to help someone out.
Nevertheless, I find some of the answers, to say at least, not very thankful.
I ask all of you to please consider:
1- We really mean to help, no more, no less.
2 - English is for many of us not our native language, therefore it's easy to get misunderstood.
Please try to get any misunderstanding cleared, instead of attacking or insulting someone.
If we stay open to the help from eachother it will be in the benefit for everyone!
Or as Robert Quillen has put it:
"Discussion is an exchange of knowledge; an argument an exchange of ignorance."
Let's improve both YoWindow and ourselves by trying to understand.
Thanks for your understanding.
Fred
