Guess you're stuck with it then...
Since there's no way to revert back to Windows 8.0 without a full system restore
which means a clean install...
I will however keep an eye out for possible fixes and report back when found...

are you familiar with registry editing...backing-up...and making a restore point..?

I have come to the conclusion that the only way to get YoWindow (and all those other programmes that I have mentioned) working again is to downgrade to Windows 7 (where they all worked beautifully) and it is just possible I may have that opportunity. In the middle of December my laptop screen went white and I was told by the computer shop that it would cost £95 to repair it. After a lot of option considering I am now using a second hand monitor instead whilst I save up for a new laptop and as I have never really liked Windows 8 will be tempted to buy a completely blank computer and Windows 7 to get back to how things were before my Windows 7 computer's lid was broken (so therefore wanted to know is YoWindow 4b22 able to work on Windows 7 still?)

YoWindow Beta b22 is working on my WinXP, Win7, and Win8.1.
Enjoy YoWindow again.
