Re: Birds!

I agree with Pasha as well, not too many options. But the landscape could have the options for the birds / flowers / planes / whatever in the ywl-file so only those options that make sense in the landscape are shown. I think birds will fit into every landscape, but planes might be a bit more trouble...

Re: Widget landscapes

Hi Plomme,

You have to add the path to your ywl-file in the flashvars as follows;

landscape=http://www.site.com/maurik.ywl

change the address and ywl to your own site details.

Re: The power of flower!

@AndrewMe That would mean the tree or flower have to fit in with the picture you are using, not an easy task but something up to the user. As long as it is possible to switch on/off by the yml-code I would like that a lot. In the end we would need a full Landscape-Editor so trees, flowers, horizon, ...

Hi Jim, <response> <current_weather> <temperature <current value="70.7"/> </temperature> You are missing the unit="f"> following the temperature tag. <response> <current_weather> <temperature unit="f"> <current value="70.7"/> </temperature> Further down your f...

Re: Landscape and Locations

@portaleazzurro I use a plugin to make it happen in Wordpress, the http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/kimili-flash-embed/ The code it generates looks like this [kml_flashembed publishmethod="static" fversion="8.0.0" movie="http://swf.yowindow.com/wimo/hpPal/hpPal.swf" ...

Dutch translation

I think the dutch translator did a good job! One request though; in the inspector window there is the 'daily rain' translated as 'regenhoeveelheid per dag' this is commonly referred to as 'neerslag per dag' . This text would be a lot shorter and thus reduce the inspector window size. Can this be upd...

Re: wsMaurik PWS - WeatherLink software

Romke, Good to hear it's working now. The <gusts> works indeed but I don't know if it really is the same as the <hiWindSpeed>. If used on the desktop I do have the daily rain value and UV-index, didn't see the rainrate yet. I think solar is not displayed maybe somebody can confirm this. My website i...

Re: wsMaurik PWS - WeatherLink software

Sorry, there was an additional > and a weird " in the previous thing. This one works for me, I've replaced all units with hardcoded ones because some users might just leave it as it is and yowindow wouldn't understand the units passed to it. <response> <current_weather> <temperature unit="...

Re: Live Sky tutorial feedback

Tutorial is great for converting images to transparant, for getting things to work we require below or you will only see the sky, clouds and sun/moon and no picture; It only mentions the crossdomain.xml in the PWS section, but it also applies to the Landscaping.... Refer to below highlighted point 2...

Re: Landscape post format feedback

crossdomain.xml file is loaded inside the root of your domain?

This was a necessity for the PWS support, but the same is required for the landscaping.
