Re: Yo window + weather display always shows sunny

I've never tried it, but I think you should be able to remove the icon and description lines from the sky portion of the xml to achieve what you want. I believe YoWindow will then use METAR info for that missing data. It's worth a try.

Re: Yo window + weather display always shows sunny

When I go to http://catt.dyndns-at-home.com:8080/lib ... window.xml I see an error, so perhaps when you did your editing something went wrong?

Marty,

Your method for checking METARs would make a good "Sticky" for this subject.

Re: b133 YoWindow Logo

Pasha,

I feel that it is better, but when selecting "Show small YoWindo logo" in options it becomes too small to read.

Re: b133 YoWindow Logo

I too agree with Marty. The old logo highlighted YoWindow where now the smiling sun detracts from it.

Re: Help:showing no weather

Woody,

I also notice that after the url that you posted you have a semi-colon where you'll need & between that and the next parameter. Just a typo I think.

Tihomir,

Make sure you have all of your configuration settings moved to the new script. I see that at least your time zone is incorrect.

Re: Snow Depth

Tihomir, I made a couple changes that will help you so please get a version 2.6 at http://jcweather.us/yowindow-xml.php?sce=view . There is a new configuration variable $IControlSnow = false; // Set true if you manually input snow level in WD. Overrides the season map. Make that true when you are ma...
