Re: screensaver weather expired-update not possible?

The weather expired message I get in screensaver mode happens when it tries to update the weather the very first time. It doesn't happen immediately when going into screensaver. I just tried it again to uodate by hitting the F5 key while in screensaver. It shows that it is trying to update, but does...

Re: screensaver weather expired-update not possible?

I am using Rochester, NY. My screensaver issue seems to be an ongoing problem with YoWindow. When in screensaver mode, it just does not work and I get a 'weather expired' error. If you try to manually update, it doesn't. I believe the developers are working on this. Hopefully they will have a fix in...

I truly did understand. If I meant the U.S.A. I would have used capital letters. Otherwise lowercase...

Re: Time

The 'us' in my comment was not meant to mean the U.S., but *was* meant to mean those of 'us' who are past, and present, members of the military.

screensaver weather expired-update not possible?

Screensaver weather still not functioning. Get a 'weather expired' message, and it can't be manually updated, unfortunately. Are the developers looking into this problem?

Re: Crash/High CPU Usage

I uninstalled / reinstalled YoWindow. Things appear to be back to normal. Not sure what caused the high cpu/memory usage issue.

Re: Looking at the North

If you're standing outside your home looking north, a west wind will blow left to right. If you're looking south, the wind will blow right to left. I have mine set up that I'm looking southward.

Re: Crash/High CPU Usage

I just tried to run it again (it actually worked yesterday with no problems) and it is showing 97% CPU with approximately 550 mb of memory being used...and NOTHING IS HAPPENING. I am going to uninstall and reinstall and see what happens.

I was in the military and refer to the 24 hour format as "military time."
