Hi/Lo Bug

There seems to be a high temp / low temp bug. When it shows the temperature for the station along with the high and low temp in a smaller font to the right of the temp, those numbers aren't accurate. As an example, station KEWR (Newark, NJ) hit 90 today, as the program showed. The next hour it was d...

It says in the article they are caused by dying thunderstorms that have rained themselves out so all that is left is a downburst of superheated wind (maybe superheated by lightning?)

Re: Saving Bug

I have no idea... But crank it up incrementally... See what gives... Thanks, it worked! There was a blue screen issue I was having too that seemed to have to do with Apple Font Manager "trying to access virtual memory that had already been released." It only happens intermittently (it mig...

Thanks. I have 305 locations saved! If I want to quickly add all those locations to another installation of Yowindow can I just copy that Options.XML file from one machine to the other? The first machine is a Win XP machine and the second machine is a Win 7 laptop. Should I also copy the other .XML...

Re: Question about adding custom landscapes

The program is amazing! The only other thing I can think of adding is a real display of stars and positions of the moon and sun and planets (to see eclipses) but I know that would be difficult without a 3D 360 degree panoramic projection. So I run Yowindow alongside Stellarium!

Re: Saving Bug

Thanks Wally. This being trial and error, is 20 sec the longest amount I should set it to?

Re: Backing up locations

Wally, I made two back ups of each file, and I made the copies "read only". My other question is that I found a second XML file called Cache, what does that do? I also made copies of that file and made them read only too.
