Re: Barometric Pressure

Hi Robert, YoWindow is showing the barometric pressure that has been corrected for altitude. Some of the others are showing the barometric pressure at sea level. I hope this explains why YoWindow is showing a different number than the others. Marty As I write this reply ... The Airport (http://en.a...

Barometric Pressure

I posted this as a suggestion earlier, but now think it is bug. Barometric pressure is generally quoted as relative barometric pressure but YoWindow displays absolute barometric pressure. It would be nice if YoWindow displayed the more standard relative number. There are two ways this might be accom...

Suggestion: Access PWS data w/o PWS URL

I use Weather Underground to get the current conditions from a PWS near my location. The weather station is not mine but it is only about a mile from my house: KTXGEORG23 It is called "Near Reunion Ranch, Georgetown, TX" YoWindow's Properties dialog wants me to input a URL for a personal weather sta...

HI LOW temperatures on notification icon display

Hello, (Windows 8.1, YoWindow 3S Build 161 Unlimited edition) I'm enjoying YoWindow and because it inspires me to look around and poke into the corners I noticed the following... The right end of the task bar is called, I think, the notification area. This is where there is a small icon for YoWindow...

Yes, same here. This AM it showed "Weather expired" with a "last observed" of over 15 hours. Again F5 cleared things up.

Thanks for reporting.
Looks like the problem has been solved.

Yes, it seems to have been fixed, but unfortunately I now get a message
  • "Weather expired"
But a manual "Update weather" (F5) fixed things.

YoWindow Update Status?

I have been getting "Update Error" from YoWindow for about five hours now. Is there a place to look for general status so I can see if this is a pervasive situation or if it is just me?

Re: Flash Dialog Freezes YoWindow

Hi Robert, I have Win7. On Win7 I can't see this. Allthough it's not OK, I was wondering if you were trying to get to the Flash settings or the YoWindow settings. Right clicking with your mouse gets you to the Flash settings. To get to the YoWindow options you can either go to Program/Options or pr...

Flash Dialog Freezes YoWindow

The Flash dialog below comes up if I right-click on YoWindow and select "Settings." The dialog is non-responsive (doesn't recognize mouse clicks). The rest of the YoWindow is grayed out and is also non-responsive. Usually using task manager to kill YoWindow frees things up and after restarting YoWin...
